I got to work today with a definite plan in mind for what I was going to accomplish. What I didn't count on was my boss having a project for me. To be fair he didn't realize he was going to have a project for me either. My plan went out the window.
Between meetings and the occasional urgent task that needed dealt with, I was busy all day. I got most of the project done and passed off a couple of tasks to one of the supervisors. I actually left at 5:00pm.
I had enough energy to go do the grocery shopping. I bought fresh veggies and fruit. I am looking forward to all of our trees producing. That is if the we don't get a hard freeze. We usually get a late freeze sometime before easter. If the fruit sets before the freeze we should be okay as long as it's not too too cold.
My kids are over at their sister's helping them pack and move to their new house. I am enjoying a quiet night at home. I will need to do some reading in my book for work. And of course complete I my night routine of blogging, scripture study and reading.
